Product Description

The PDC core bit is also called a hollow bit,a thin tubular multi - toothed bit,the drill body is inlaid with carbide plates.

The purpose of core-taking is to obtain complete stratigraphic decomposition data during exploration, development, and construction. Through a large number of core analysis and research to better formulate a reasonable development and construction program.
Use the core analysis data to understand the strength of different formations, such as drill ability and abrasiveness, in order to guide drilling operations and achieve better drilling efficiency.
The distribution of oil, gas and water in the oil and gas is analyzed from the core sampling of the target formation, and the porosity permeability and the oil and gas saturation as well as the effective thickness of the oil and gas layers is calculated. Thus producing more valuable oil and gas fields.

Different labial shape matrix formulations are suitable for coring in complex rock formations, and the cores drilled will provide reliable data for geological and engineering studies. Classified according to the shape of PDC:Flat PDC core bit,Bread PDC core bit,Cut PDC core bit,Fan PDC core bit and Helmet  PDC core bit.

Strata Grading Instructions

Grade 1 loose soil: secondary loess, secondary laterite, soft sandy soil without gravel and breccia, diatomaceous earth
Grade 2 loose rocks: loess, laterite, peat, clay, sand, kaolin
Grade 3 soft rocks: strongly weathered shale, slate, dry pasture and schist, slightly cemented sand
Grade 4 slightly softer rocks: shale, sandy shale, oil shale, carbonaceous shale, calcareous shale, sand-shale interbedded, argillaceous limestone
Grade 5 slightly harder rock: gravel and gravel layers, collapsible layers, argillaceous slate, sericite chlorite slate, schist, limestone
Grade 6-7 medium hard rock: chlorite, mica, slate, dry pasture, schist, silicified limestone, calcite
Grade 8-9 hard rock: silicified mica, gneiss, basalt, diabase, pyroxenite, quartz Anshan porphyry
Grade 10-11 hard rock: granite, granodiorite, gneiss, rhyolite, quartzite
Level 12 Hardest Rocks: Quartzite, Jasperite, Cape Shale, Corundum, Quartz, Flint, Jasper
