Product Description

Working principle of reverse circulation drilling rig
1. Power drive: The power system of the drilling rig provides power for the drilling rig, and drives the drill rod and drill bit to rotate through the rotary device so that the drill bit can crush the rock and soil.

2. Mud circulation: During drilling, the mud in the mud pool will flow through the wellhead and into the bottom of the well by gravity. At the same time, under the action of equipment such as sand and gravel pumps, the mud at the bottom of the well and the rock cuttings crushed by the drill bit will be sucked into the drill rod, and then flow upward through the hollow part of the drill rod and return to the wellhead.

3. Slag treatment: After the mud-carrying rock cuttings come out of the wellhead, they will be discharged to the mud pool through the faucet and slag pipe. In the mud pool, the rock cuttings settle down, and the mud flows back into the well to form a cycle.

4. In this process, mud plays an important role. It can not only carry the cuttings from the bottom of the well to the ground but also cool and lubricate the drill bit to reduce the wear of the drill bit. At the same time, the mud skin formed around the well wall can maintain its stability and prevent it from collapsing.
